Early Childhood, Youth, And Young Adults Investments:

I believe one of the best investments we can make in Seaside is an investment in our children and young people. A strong city needs strong schools, safe spaces for learning and growth, and real opportunities for young people to build confidence, skills, and purpose. That starts with early childhood and continues through the teen years and into young adulthood.

I support expanding access to quality early childhood programs, youth activities, and educational enrichment opportunities that help young people succeed in school and in life. Every child, no matter their zip code or family income, deserves a fair chance to learn, grow, and prepare for the future.

I have long supported our schools, students, and families, and I believe the City must continue to be an active partner in that work. That means showing up, building relationships, and helping connect young people to the programs and institutions that can open doors for them. It also means continuing to support efforts like Seaside’s STEM Program and STEM Camp, which help students build the skills they will need in a changing economy.

If I am re-elected, I will continue fighting for expanded access to early childhood enrichment and more safe, affordable preschool opportunities; stronger STEM and robotics hands-on learning opportunities for Seaside youth; enhanced programs at the Teen Center and Seaside Youth Resource Center, including college and career readiness with stronger partnerships with MPUSD, MPC, and CSUMB connecting students and young adults to educational opportunity, workforce development and pre-apprenticeship pathways.

I want Seaside to be a city where children get a strong start, teens have positive opportunities, and young adults can see a future for themselves right here at home. That is how we prepare the next generation to lead, succeed, and move Seaside forward.
